The Bar at 327 Braun Ct
The Bar at 327 Court is a small restro-bar that offers a variety of drinks while simultaneously serving some of Ann Arbor’s best pizza. While still a secret to many, the bar is planning on opening its doors to more, especially with the help of a new website that will enable online ordering. I helped redesign their website to make the process of ordering pizzas and drinks from the bar online a smooth process for customers.

Executive Summary
Retail websites are most efficient when they are simple yet personalized to keep the user engaged during the shopping process.
When designing for The Bar, I made a conscious decision to have all the traditional elements necessary for a retail food website while trying to have the design of the site encapsulate the simplistic aesthetic of the logo.

Problem Statement
Issues with the previous website included:

Absence of content chunking

1. Pictures associated with every menu item along with ingredient items and price to provide the user with context on the item being selected.
2. The item name is underlined to indicate click-ability

Checkout Experience
1. Checkout flow is chunked into 3 main components
2. User is able to see which step they are on and total price during all steps of the checkout flow
3. Usage of circles with think stroke weights to mimic the logo

Distinctive Design System
1. Simple, reusable and distinctive buttons, checkboxes
and layout inspired by The Bar's aesthetic are used throughout the website.
