about
A little more about me
My introduction to creativity started early with drawing, but I didn’t realize I was constantly gravitating toward design until much later.
In high school, photography drew me in. I found myself constantly looking up, fascinated by ceilings and the different ways they were built, patterned, and lit.
In college, as I explored music from different cultures like K-Pop, I became especially captivated by the visual world behind it. From the sets to the styling to the art direction of music videos, and especially the album covers and CD packaging, I was as fascinated by the design element as I was by the music.
After graduating, when I finally had time to explore hobbies I’d always wanted to try, I signed up for a pottery class. I started making mugs, bowls, and plates from scratch, and glazing quickly became my favorite part of the process.
These experiences all taught me how to see, experiment, and translate ideas into form.
Design has always been a quiet constant in my life.
Inspiration for this site
The idea for this site began unexpectedly when my friends and I started exchanging postcards after college to stay in touch. Over time, I collected postcards from all over the world, each with its own color palette, layout, stamp, and personality. Seeing them together made me appreciate how small design details can carry so much meaning and connection.
I wanted this website to feel just as personal while also giving me room to explore my creativity. So I picked up Procreate and decided to design a postcard and a stamp for each of my projects. You can see that work here.
I hope you enjoyed visiting this site as much as I enjoyed creating it.
